Bamboos have no negative impact on our environment. In fact, bamboo plants produce highly oxygenated air and balance humidity.Jadav Payeng, a Mishing tribe environmental activist and forestry worker, single-handedly converted a washed out land into a 1,360 acre forest. The forest is now home to tigers and rhinoceros.The Amazon rainforestproduces 20% of the earth's oxygen.In the last four years, 441 new species of plants and vertebrateshave been discovered in the Amazon rainforest.15
