Much of Africa%u2019s cultural activity centres on the family and the ethnic group they belong to.Food: Most cuisines of Africa include fruits, grains, vegetables, milk and meat products. Africans cook food in a largeblackpotfilledwithmeat,vegetables,andspices.Thepot is usually placed on three stones arranged in a triangle.Clothing: The type of clothing varies across Africa, according to the religious beliefs and traditional customs. In some cultures, Africans wear colourful attires while some wear less colourful, but include shiny threads and some jewellery.Art: African art includes sculpture, painting, pottery, jewellery, headgear and dress. All these arts have a common theme, i.e. women, couples, children and animals.Festivals: Africa is a continent of vibrant festivals. Some of the most important festivals are Akwambo festival, Homowo festival, Odwira festival and Kundum festival.BHUTANBhutan has a rich and distinctive culture developed over the ages. The unique cultural and traditional values are the country%u2019s essential embodiments.Food: In Bhutanese cuisine, dairy foods like butter and cheese from yaks and cows are very popular. The traditional Bhutanese food is lavishly spiced with dried or fresh chillies as they are not considered to be a seasoning, but a valuable vegetable.Clothing: The distinctive feature of the Bhutanese is their clothing, which has evolved over the years. Bhutanese men wear Gho, a long robe, and women wear an anklelength robe called Kira.Art:ThecultureofBhutanisalsoreflectedinitsart.Thearts and crafts of Bhutan vary from painting to sculptures, weaving, paper-making, wood carving, sword-making, jewellery and arrow-making, etc.Festivals: All the festivals celebrated in Bhutan are holy spiritual events.
