He attended Hawkshead Grammar School where his love for poetry developed. He is credited with launching the Romantic Age in English Literature. His famous poems are The Solitary Reaper, An Evening Walk and Descriptive Sketches.Robert Frostwasbornin1874inSanFrancisco.Hisfirstpoem, My Butterfly was published in 1894 in a New York Newspaper. He was a four-time Pulitzer Prize winning American poet, teacher and lecturer. By 1920s, he became the most elaborated poet in America. His famous poems are New Hampshire, A Further Range, Steeple Bush and In The Clearing.Walt Whitman was born in 1819 in West Hills, New York. During his lifetime, he worked as a painter, teacher, reporter and editor. In 1855, he took out a copyright on thefirsteditionof%u2018Leaves of Grass%u2019 which consisted of twelve untitled poems.
